Q.Who is Flexi-Fi?
A. Flexi-Fi is a retail instalment payment plan facility, an easy alternative to paying with cash or credit card for your goods. Whether it’s a new tool chest, engine crane, spanner set or a little bit of everything, Flexi-Fi is there to make finance simple!
Q. What can they do for me?
A. It’s all about you – you’re in total control. You select the goods; You select the amount; You select the plan; You have full access to your Flexi-Fi account via your very own self-serve portal. You can even pay out your purchase early without any additional fees or charges. Like we said, it’s all about you! Flexi-Fi like to know their customers so to apply, you complete a simple, quick and easy online application form on your mobile phone or mobile device. Apply from home, at the office or in-store – it’s your choice. Please make sure that you are NOT using Internet Explorer when applying. Depending on the chosen plan, there may be an application fee required up front upon approval and a monthly fee to run your account. These fees are included in your credit and payment schedules; itemised on your payment schedule so you know exactly how much you are paying. Providing you stick to your payment schedule, you know exactly how many payments you need to make and the total amount payable throughout your Flexi-Fi payment term. Plans, rates and offers vary by retailer so best to check in store for the best Flexi-Fi offer. Flexi-Fi likes to keep in touch so will send you SMS messages and emails throughout your application and time with us. Having a mobile phone number and email address is required to enjoy the benefits of Flexi-Fi. To apply for Flexi-Fi, all you need is a valid email address, your mobile phone number and meet the following minimum criteria: Provide proof of PPS number & Address. Flexi-Fi allows you to spread the cost of your purchase across our partner stores. Each store has different plans to offer, so best check plans with your chosen partner store (retailer).It’s that simple! Complete a Flexi-Fi application (please ensure that you are not using Internet Explorer) and we will assess it for you in less than 15 minutes*. If you are approved for finance with FlexiFi, you can use this approval to make purchases in multiple Retail Partner Stores! Am I eligible for Flexi-Fi finance? Once you’ve submitted an application, one of our Credit Officers will assess it and get back to you within minutes*. Unfortunately, we do not accept joint applications. To make an application for Flexi-Fi, you’ll need to enter your own income, expenses and personal information. Documents Required The application is completed online, and during this process you’ll be asked to upload a photo ID – we can accept a passport, driver’s license and Garda Age Card. You will then receive an email requesting proof of PPS number and address. You may be requested to provide additional documentation, but generally this would only be a recent bank statement or payslip. If you have been approved, you won’t need to bring any documentation with you to complete your purchase. Q. How do I resume my application?
A. If you have not fully submitted your application for assessment, you can resume and complete the application through our website, provided you have received a Resume Code. This code appears in the Privacy email you would have received when you requested your Consent Code. To resume your application, follow this link You’ll need to click “Resume an existing application” and enter your Resume Code. Please note, if your application has already been submitted for assessment, it can’t be resumed. If you need to submit additional documents, simply reply to the email you’ve received from us, or send the relevant documents to email@example.com with your full name in the subject line. Q. I've been approved! What's next?
A. To complete the process, you’ll now need to visit the Retail Partner Store where you wish to make a purchase. Once you’re in-store, a salesperson will identify your application on their system using your mobile phone number only. They will also talk you through your repayment and term options, and assist you with setting your agreement. You won’t need to provide your bank details, just make sure you’ve got a credit or debit card with you and an ID, and we can complete your purchase within minutes. Q. My application has been declined. How do I reapply?
A. We’re sorry to hear that we haven’t been able to offer you Flexi-Fi at this time. Unfortunately, we cannot discuss the reason for your decline, but we would be happy to assess a new application six months from the date of your original application. Simply submit a new application
Q.How much will my Flexi-Fi repayments be?
A.Repayment options vary depending on which Retail Partner you’ve chosen for your purchase, and also on your chosen plan and term. Visit our partners store page , select a store, click “Get a Quote”, enter an amount and a quote will automatically be generated onscreen.
Q. How will Flexi-Fi / The retail partner store identify my account?
A. You won’t need to remember any fiddly account numbers – just provide your name and mobile number listed on your application and we’ll be able to identify your account.
Q. Do I need to pay a deposit?
A. You do not need to pay a deposit. If you select our No Interest Ever term, one upfront payment is required. If you select our Low Interest plan a €10 application fee will be required at time of purchase. A €35 application fee will apply to all other plans at time of purchase.
Q. How do you take payment?
A. Your application fee or upfront payment, is processed using the card details provided at time of purchase. The card you nominate will automatically be selected as your default method of payment for recurring payments (fortnightly/monthly repayments). If you wish to amend your card details, you can do this quickly and easily at myaccount.flexifi.com
Q.Are there any fees associated with my application?
A. Our No Interest Ever plan does not incur any application Fees. Our Low Interest plan incurs a €10 application fee and a €1 monthly account keeping fee. For all other plans, there’s an application fee paid of €35 paid up front upon purchase of the goods and a monthly fee of €3.50 to run your account. These fees are included in your credit and payment schedules and itemised on your payment schedule so you know exactly how much you are paying.
Q. What happens if I miss a payment?
A. If you miss a scheduled payment you will incur a dishonor fee of €9 per missed payment.
Q. I've made a purchase, but I haven't used my full approval limit, can i go back and use the rest?
A. If you wish to begin a new contract to use the remainder of your approval limit, simply visit the Retail Partner Store that you wish to make a purchase in, and provide your mobile number. The Retail Partner Store will be able to locate your details on their system and begin a new contract for you. See Our Partners Stores Please note that there is a minimum purchase amount of €80 and/or €1,000 depending on the new plan/term selected. You may also be subject to a €10 or €35 application fee (depending on plan selected) for setting up the new contract and your monthly repayments will be charged separately to your repayments on the original contract.
Q. When do my repayments start?
A. Your first monthly repayment will be due one fortnight/month after you purchase your goods. This means, if your goods were purchased on the 20th, your first repayment will be due on the same date the following month or in a fortnight – depending on the payment plan selected. If you wish to change your repayment date at any time, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org detailing the desired repayment date, your name and mobile number. Please note that any amendment to your repayment date may result in an increase in your repayment amount (normally just by a few cents).
Q.Do you need my bank account details?
A. No, we just require a current credit or debit card to finalise your agreement. To validate your card, we may run an authorisation payment.
Q. Can I pay off my Flexi-Fi agreement early?
A. Yes, you can pay off your Flexi-Fi Agreement early without any additional fees or charges. You will only pay the balance owing (including interest) up until the point of closure. You can make additional payments at any time, and you can do this as often as you like – simply log in to your online customer portal (you will have received an email about logging in when you made your purchase), and clicking on your agreement number, and click making a “One-Off Payment”. As we said, you can do this is as often as you like!
Q. How do I update my card details for payment?
A. Amending your card details is easy through your online portal. Simply visit myaccount.flexifi.com and click on your agreement number. Your online portal also gives you the option to make a one-off payment, request a statement and change your address.
